MISSING SISTER

In a city where emotions unlock unnatural powers, you fight not just for survival  but to find your family again.

Missing Sister is a hybrid 2D action game that blends beat 'em up combat, top-down exploration, and visual novel-style storytelling. You play as an older sister tearing through gang-infested zones, chasing the faint trail of her kidnapped sibling in a fractured city ruled by power, corruption, and chaos.

Core Gameplay Features

• Dynamic Combat Zones
  Side-scrolling beat ’em up fights with combos and boss encounters.

• Overworld Exploration
  Travel the city in a top-down overworld,  enemy bases, and interact with NPCs.

• Visual Novel Encounters
  Story moments delivered with expressive dialogue scenes and dual-character portraits.

• Earned Progression
  Defeat base bosses to unlock new paths  and get closer to the truth as the story progresses.

Current Build Status

This is a work-in-progress prototype, focused on core systems:

• Functional beat ’em up combat

• Enemy waves and boss logic

• Visual novel system with dialogue transitions

• Scene-based progression and overworld logic

Polish, art, and sound will evolve with each build as new content is added.

Dev Notes

Solo-developed in Unity. Everything from input buffering and camera logic to character control and scene flow is coded with the help of AI since I am not a programmer, but an with an idea, animation-ready, and designed to feel tight and responsive.

This is my attempt to see an idea of mine become reality with an original world, plot and characters that hopefully, one day, will reach completion and be a full experience that people can enjoy.
